1. Tentukan nilai kemiringan garis singgung dari kurva untuk masing-masing fungsi berikut.
a. f(x) = cotan x di x = π/3
b. g(x) = sin 1/4 x di x = 2π
c. h(θ) = tan θ - cotan θ di θ = π/4
d. p(θ) = sec θ + cosec θ di θ = - π/3

Jawaban : 

a. f(x) = cotan x di x = π/3
f '(x) = - cosec² x
f '(π/3) = - cosec² π/3
f '(π/3) = - 1 / (sin²π/3)
f '(π/3) = - 1/(1/2 √3)²
f '(π/3) = - 1/(3/4)
f '(π/3) = - 4/3

b. g(x) = sin 1/4 x di x = 2π
g ' (x) = 1/4 cos 1/4 x
g ' (2π) = 1/4 cos 1/4 . 2π
g ' (2π) = 1/4 cos π/2
g ' (2π) = 1/4 . 1
g ' (2π) = 1/4

c. h(θ) = tan θ - cotan θ di θ = π/4
h ' (θ) = sec² θ - (- cosec² θ)
h ' (θ) = sec² θ + cosec² θ
h ' (π/4) = sec² (π/4) + cosec² (π/4)

h ' (π/4) = 2 + 2 

h ' (π/4) = 4

d. p(θ) = sec θ + cosec θ di θ = - π/3

p ' (θ) = sec θ .  tan θ - cosec θ . cotan θ
p ' (- π/3) = sec (- π/3).  tan (- π/3)- cosec (- π/3) . cotan (- π/3)
p ' (- π/3) = 2 . - √3 - (- 2/√3) . (- 1/3 √3)
p ' (- π/3) = - 2√3 - 2/3
