2. Hitunglah :

a. 1/(3 !)+2/(4 )-3/(5 !)  =  . . .

b. Tentukan nilai n, jika  C(n ,2 ) = 15 

c.  jika P (n,4) = 30 C(n,5)


Jawaban :

a.

1/(3 !) + 2/(4!) - 3/(5!)

1/(3!) + 2/(4 . 3!) - 3/(5 . 4. 3!)
1/(3!) + 2/(4 . 3!) - 3/(20. 3!)

samakan penyebut

20/(20 . 3!) + (2 . 5)/(20 . 3!) - 3/(20. 3!)
20/(20 . 3!) + 10/(20 . 3!) - 3/(20. 3!)
= 27/(20 . 3!)
= 27 / (20 . 3 . 2 . 1)
= 9 / (20 . 2)
= 9/40

b. nilai n, jika  C(n ,2 ) = 15 
nC2 = 15
15 = n! / (2! (n-2)!)
15 = n . (n-1) . (n - 2)! / (2! (n-2)!)
15 = n . (n-1) / 2!
15 . 2! = n^2 - n
15 . 2 = n^2 - n
30 = n^2 - n
0 = n^2 - n - 30
0 = (n - 6)(n + 5)

n = 6 atau n = -5
oleh karena n > 0, maka nilai n yang dipilih adalah n = 6

c. P (n,4) = 30 C(n,5)
nP4 = 30 . nC5
n!/(n-4)! = 30 . n! /(5! (n - 5)!)
1/(n-4)! = 30 / (5! (n - 5)!)
5! (n - 5)! = 30 . (n - 4)!
5! (n - 5)! = 30 . (n - 4) . (n - 5)!
5! = 30 . (n - 4)
5 . 4 . 3 . 2 . 1 = 30n - 120
120 = 30n - 120
240 = 30n
n -= 8
